Rockford Man Who Dropped
Dead of Heart Attack
Is Buried.

ROCKFORD, IOWA, May 7. — Funeral Service for William Palmer, 76, who dropped dead in his barn yard Saturday night was held here Tuesday with a prayer service at the home and the funeral service at Holy Name Catholic church at 9:30 a.m.

The requiem mass service was conducted by the Rev. P. J. LaVallette and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Palmer had been in failing health for some time but his condition had improved and he was about his work when he suffered a heart attack which proved fatal.

He was married to Mary Paulus on November 26, 1881, and since their marriage they have lived continuously in and around Rockford.

He is survived by his wife and two brothers, E. E. Palmer and F. T. Palmer of Rudd; also one sister, Mrs. Alice Drexler of Coggan. A nephew, Charlie Franklin, made his home with them also.
