Mrs. Sanders
dies at 89;
Rites Monday

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home here for Mrs. Myrtle Maude Sanders, 89. A resident of Nora Springs for 15 years, she died New Year's Day at the Rockford Nursing Home, where she had been a patient for three years. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Mrs. Sanders acted as librarian for the Nora Springs Library 15 years. She was the mother of Mrs. Frank Brunner, formerly of Nora Springs, now living in Clear Lake; and Leo Sanders, Chester, Calif.

She was a member of the Central Star Club of Charles City.

Surviving besides her son and daughter, are five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, Mrs. John Salsbury, Charles City is a granddaughter. One daughter, Vera Sanders, died in 1956.
