CHARLES CITY - Ralph Bryant, 95, formerly of 3231 190th St., died Tuesday (Jan. 9, 2001) at the Salsbury Baptist Home in Charles City.
Funeral services for Ralph Bryant will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Wesleyan Church in Charles City, with the Rev. Ted Clark officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. in Charles City, with the family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There will be additional visitation one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Church.
Ralph Emory Bryant was born Sept. 10, 1905 at Mason City, the son of Seth and Lois Gray Bryant. He graduated from the Mason City High School and from Iowa State.
On Sept. 23, 1930, he was united in marriage to Marjory Bouck at Mason City. They farmed north of Mason City moving to the Charles City area in 1956. Ralph attended the First Wesleyan Church.
Living family members include three sons and their wives, Dennis and Dolly, of Mason City, Jerry and Vi, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Seth and Margaret, of Charles City; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife in 1982; a daughter, Jean Boekemier; a granddaughter, Delores Drillen; and a sister, Helen Thompson.
