NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Mrs. Myrtle Dusenberg, 77, of Nora Springs, died Friday (Oct. 3, 1986) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the United Methodist Church, Nora Springs, with the Rev. Lon Lewis officiating. Burial will be at West St. Charles Cemetery, rural Charles City.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m., Monday at the Hogan-Bremer-Sheckler Colonial Chapel in Nora Springs.

The family requests that memorials be given to the Myrtle Dusenberg Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Dusenberg was born on February 18, 1909 in Ulster Township in Floyd County. She was the daughter of Simon and Bertha (Koehler) Eichmeier.
She attended schools in rural Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School in 1927.

On Oct. 30, 1937, she married Jake Horn in Charles City who died in 1950. She then married Arthur Dusenberg of Nora Springs in 1954. The couple farmed a number of years west of Nora Springs and in 1972 moved into Nora Springs. She enjoyed raising roses.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Nora Springs.

Survivors include: one sister Bernice Eichmeier, Charles City and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Newton (Esther) Hahn, Charles City.
