JOHN F. MONROE, SR.

CHARLES CITY - John F. Monroe, Sr., 82, a resident of 1907 Owen Street, Charles City, died Friday (Jan. 21, 2000) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Ted Clark of First Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City with military honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
