ANDELINE MARGARET LINKE

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Andeline Margaret Linke, 92, of The Vintage Health Care Center in Denton, Texas, formerly of Nora Springs, died Wednesday (Nov. 3, 1999).

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, with the Rev. Ruth Hansen of St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be in the Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

Friends may call one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the chapel.

According to her wishes, her body was cremated.

Andeline Margaret Linke was born on Nov. 18, 1906, in Troy County, Mo., the daughter of Anthony Joseph and Margaret (Tomek) Bufka.

She was united in marriage to Henry E. Linke on Feb. 2, 1926. He preceded her in death in 1975. During her life, Andeline worked for 10 years as a cook for the Good Shepherd Geriatrics Center in Mason City.

She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Nora Springs and the Rebeccah Lodge in Nora Springs.

Survivors include one son, Gayle Linke and his wife, Luanne, of Denton, Texas; two sisters, Laura Blaue, of Garden Grove, Calif. and Esther Felgate, of El Cajon, Calif.; and one brother, Virgil Bufka, of Dallas, Ore.; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
