Mrs. Harry Powers

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Burial will be in Gastonia, North Carolina, for Mrs. Harry Powers, 66, a former Charles City resident. She died suddenly at her home in Gastonia on April 29, 1964.

Mrs. Powers and her husband were former grocery store owners in Charles City.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Ossman Oxford, N.C., and Mrs. James (Glennis) Kiser, Gastonia, N.C.; seven grandchildren; a sister- in-law, Mrs. Leo Birkholz; and two brothers-in-law, John Powers and Clifford Gunn, all of Charles City.
