Diana Wilson, age 58, of Holiday, Florida, and formerly of Charles City, Iowa, died September 24, 2010, at Gulfside Regional Hospice in Trinity, Florida.

Memorial services for Diana Wilson will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday.

Diana Lynn Wilson was born December 31, 1951, at Charles City the daughter of Mildred Bunston Perry. She attended high school in Charles City. On July 7, 1970, Diana was united in marriage to Wm. Stanley Wilson at Rudd. Over the years she worked at various places in the Charles City area. Her interests included scrapbooking, reading, doing crafts, woodworking, going for walks and enjoying time with her dog Party Boy. Diana looked forward to spending time with her family especially her new granddaughter.

Living family members include three sons, Shawn (Jennifer) Wilson of Tarpon Springs, Florida, who is an Investigator with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Calvin Wilson and his son Ryan of Holiday, Florida, and Corey Wilson, a student at Iowa State University, and his girlfriend Ashley Rutherford both of Ames; a granddaughter, Addison Makenzie Wilson; her mother, Mildred Perry; and a sister, Missy (James) Fannon Perry and their two daughters Faith and Saige of Charles City.

She was preceded in death by her husband on August 27, 2006; and her dog, Party Boy earlier this year.
