Dorothy 'Jane' King

CHARLES CITY — Dorothy "Jane" King, 66, of 120 Cedar Terrace N., formerly of Rural Route No. 4, died Saturday (Jan. 16, 1999) at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 705 Third Ave., Charles City, with the Rev. Curt Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. The family will be present to greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church.

Dorothy Jane King was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Steele, North Dakota.

She is survived by five children, Carol Beck, Ames, Charles "Chuck" King, Charles City, Susan Clark, Charles City, Dale King, Winnebago, Minn., and Joann Vandeventer Jr., Charles City, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, and her sister.

Those considering an expression of sympathy may consider directing memorials to the stained glass window fund at Messiah Lutheran Church.
