CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Lorrayne (Mrs. Lamont) Johnson, 78, a former resident of 113 Oliver St., died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at the Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Blair Rohde-Frank, pastor of West St. Charles United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens, south of Charles City.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Lorrayne E. Johnson was born July 11, 1920, at Colwell.

Survivors include one stepdaughter, Karen Forsyth, of Charles City; one sister, Neoma Thompson, of Charles City; three step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa, Charles City Center.
