Rites Wednesday

Anna Katherine Stuckrad, 84, died Sunday at the Nora Springs Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Sheckler Funeral Home with Rev. Amedee Fredette, pastor of Saint Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in the Charles City Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Stuckrad was born September 3, 1883, daughter of Michael and Christine (Brandau) LaCoste, on a farm north of Rudd. She attended the Floyd County schools. She was married in 1905 to August Miller. They lived in Charles City until his death in 1907. In 1910 she was married to Henry Stuckrad, and they also resided in Charles City until 1913, when they moved south of Rudd.

After her husbands death in 1958, she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Kock in Rudd, until entering the Nora Springs Nursing Home in September 1967. She was preceded in death by her husbands, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. George (Luella) Kock of Rudd; two grandchildren, Donald Kock, Nora Springs and Mrs. Gary (Dorothy) Schriever, Rudd, one great grandaughter, Candace Kock, Nora Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Rolfes, Mrs. Alma Kuhlemeier, both of Rudd; Mrs. Mary Kingsbury, Sycamore, Illinois; and a brother, Fred LaCoste, Rudd.
