For Otto Schultz

Otto Lewis Schultz died Friday, June 7, at Mercy Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week.

Mr. Schultz was born February 1, 1886 at Nora Springs, son of Albert and Wilhelmina (Bruening)
Schultz.

At an early age he moved with his parents to the Carpenter area. When he was 11 years old his parents purchased the farm northwest of Nora Springs where he lived until 1952 when he moved into Nora Springs. He completed his schooling at Rock Grove Township School No. 5.

On Oct. 14, 1919, he was married to Mary Percy at her farm nome near Nora Springs. He was a 50 year member of the Nora Springs Methodist Church. He served as director of Rock Grove School No. 5 many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Percy; two grandchildren, Thomas of Sioux City, and Jacqueline, attending Colorado State at Greeley; one great granddaughter, Lisa Ann, Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Willard Durant (Chloe) of Nora Springs and Mrs. Louise Meter of Garner; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Nora Springs, Monday, June 10, with Rev. Donald Harbour officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery at Nora Springs. Sheckler Funeral Home was in charge.
