CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Larry Eastman, 55, of Charles City, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Charles City.

Funeral services for Larry Eastman will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City with Pastor Shawn Geer of the First Baptist Church in Plainfield officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Larry Ray Eastman was born October 7, 1954, at Waterloo, the son of Lava and Lois (Barnhart) Eastman. He attended school at East High in Waterloo and later received his GED. Larry was a HAM Radio operator and enjoyed electronic repair, fishing and helping people.

Living family members include his father, Lava Eastman of Plainfield; three sisters, Lynn (Thom) Neith of Goodyear, Ariz., Lorrie Eastman of Waterloo and Lana Eastman and fiancée Denny Rolfes of Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Leslie Eastman.
