CHARLES CITY — Theodore A. "Ted" Johnson, 94, of 303 L Street, died Tuesday (May 12, 1998) at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Debra Lincoln, associate pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday.

Theodore Albert Johnson was born October 15, 1903, at Belle Plaine.

He is survived by a son, Laverne Johnson, of Harpers Ferry; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grand-children; and many great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, two brothers, two sisters, a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
