CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Kenneth Walter Cerwin, 51, died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Kenneth Walter Cerwin was born on January 30, 1947, in Younkers, N.Y.

He is survived by his parents, Robert T. and Blanche Cerwin, Raleigh, N. C., and one brother, Dr. Robert Cerwin of Raleigh, N. C.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Kenneth Walter Cerwin

CHARLES CITY — Kenneth Walter Cerwin, 51, of Charles City, died Saturday (May 9, 1998) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

There will be no visitation. Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Walter Cerwin was born Jan. 30, 1947 in Younkers, N.Y., the son of Robert T. and Blanche (Jablonski) Cerwin.

Kenneth attended and graduated from DeWitt-Clinto High School in Bronx, N.Y. in 1964. He then attended college in Queens, N.Y.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1968.

He then entered the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union and worked as a plumber for several years, retiring due to ill health.

Member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union in New York since 1968.

Survivors include his parents, Robert T. and Blanche Cerwin, Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Dr. Robert Cerwin and his wife, Bonnie, Raleigh, N.C.; one niece, Christina Cerwin, Raleigh, N.C.; one nephew, Alexander Cerwin, Raleigh, N.C.; and one aunt, Valeria Jablonski, Raleigh, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
