CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Edna Huffman, 87, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1998) at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with the Rev. J. Larry Valery of the Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Memorials may be directed to the Trinity United Methodist Church or Hospice of North Iowa, Charles City.

Edna Lucille Brookins Huffman was born April 2, 1911, in Chickasaw County, Iowa.

Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Wineman of Crystal Lake, Illinois; a son, Albert Huffman of Charles City; a brother, Franklin Brookins of Searcy, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, and two brothers.
