CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Robert Breitbach, 72, of 1207 Ellis Drive, died Tuesday (Oct. 6, 1998) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, with a flag presentation by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today a the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Robert James Breitbach was born on December 9, 1925, at Independence, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Norma, of Charles City; two sons, Steven Breitbach, of Wisconsin and David Breitbach, of Nissequogue, N.Y. ; a daughter, Susan Breitbach, of Madison, Wis.; four brothers, Dean Breitbach, of Kankakee, Ill., Lewis Breitbach, of Waterloo, Norris Breitbach, of Oregon, Wis., and Paul Breitbach, of Greensboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
