NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Bernadine Kaiser, 77, of 116 N. Boulder, Nora Springs, died Wednesday (Aug. 21, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center West, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, 202 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, with the Rev. Richard Pippert officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Bernadine Kaiser was born May 18, 1919, in Blue Earth County, Minn., daughter of Clyde and Grace (Perry) VanBlair.
She married Louis Thomas Kaiser on April 12, 1947, in Austin, Minn.
Bernadine graduated from Mason City High School in 1936. She and her family moved to a farm near Rockford in 1947. In 1970, they moved into Nora Springs.
She was a member of the Wigwam-N-Wagon Club, Mason City.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Jarrar of LaVerne, Calif.; one son, Larry Waller and his wife, Julie, of Huntsville, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Janeen Jarrar and Ramsey Jarrar, both of LaVerne, Calif., and Jeffrey Waller and Jenifer Waller, both of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on March 12, 1994; and one brother, Dale VanBlair.
