CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Ransom Gus Bouillon, 90, of Charles City, died Thursday, April 29, at 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home.

He was born on February 12, 1920, in Galt, son of Gus and Maria Geiger Bouillon. He married Jennie Janssen Dec. 30, 1939. She preceded him in death in 1998.

He received his education at rural country schools.

Mr. Bouillon was a long time farmer and worked in maintenance for the Floyd County Secondary Roads Department.

Survived by: three sons, Jerry (Marilyn) of Greene, Dennis (Connie) of Ionia and Louis (Barb) of Charles City; four daughters, Joyce (Cal) Wood of Ionia, Mary (Bill) Mooberry and JoAnn (Darrell) Schmidt, all of Charles City, and Kandi (DeWayne) Eddy of Nashua; a sister, Josette (Don) Bailey of Dixon, Ill.; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: his wife; four sisters, Raymonda Bean, Yolanda Ames, Violet Martin and Charlotte Bryan; and four grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Hugeback and Chenoweth Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Nashua. Public visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and will continue for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
