CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Emma M. Ruzicka, 93, 11th St. Chautauqua Guest Home, and formerly of 1110 Hildreth St., Charles City, died Tuesday (March 3, 1998) at the nursing home following a lengthy illness.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, U.S. Highway 18 and Clark Street, Charles City, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Roseville, rural Marble Rock.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City, with a 7 p.m. Scriptural wake service, followed by the rosary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

Emma Mae Ruzicka was born Nov. 5, 1904, on the family farm in rural Marble Rock.

Survivors include a brother and sister, Anthony and Alvina Ruzicka, both of rural Marble Rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
