CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Edna (Mrs. Ray) Franke, 78, of 503 S. Jackson St., died Wednesday (Feb. 18, 1998) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Debra Lincoln and the Rev. J. Larry Vallery, officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. There will be further visitation one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

Edna Anna Litterer Franke was born Nov. 10, 1919, in Clarksville.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Franke, Brandon, S.D., James Franke, and Charles Franke, both of Charles City; one daughter, Joyce Anderson, Ionia; 12 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Litterer, of Clarksville, and Ken Litterer, of Lost Nation; and one sister, Gladys Stauffer, of Greene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister.
