CHARLES CITY — Karla (Mrs. Jerry) Groesbeck, 53, of 1702 Kenwood Ave., died Sunday (Feb. 8, 1998) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with a 7:30 p.m. parish Vigil Scriptural Wake service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.

Karla Kay Carr Clark Groesbeck was born July 18, 1944, at Charles City.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry, of Charles City; one daughter, Loretta Deetz, of Charles City; three grandchildren; one stepson, Michael Groesbeck, of Des Moines; one stepdaughter, Amy Miller, of Des Moines; two stepgranddaughters; and stepfather, Douglas Wartman, of Charles City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
