ROCKFORD, IOWA — Richard C. Nauman, 65, of 12530 Zinnia Ave., died Wednesday (Feb. 4, 1998) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.
Private graveside services were held at the Rock Grove Cemetery in Nora Springs, with the Rev. Kathy Graves of Muse Norris Hospice officiating. There was no public visitation.
Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, is serving the family.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa in memory of Richard C. Nauman.
Richard C. Nauman was born August 3, 1932, at rural Marble Rock, the son of Carl and Clara (Linderkamp) Nauman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On May 1, 1965, Richard married Marlene Poovey at the Oxford Methodist Church in Oxford, Kansas. Richard was a farmer of all his life. He was an avid collector of toy tractors. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Nauman, Rockford; two children, Marta Kramer and her husband, Richard, of Nora Springs, and Mark Nauman and his wife, Sheila, Roland; four grandchildren, Adam and Emily Kramer, and Orion and Jesse Nauman; and one sister, Gladys Nauman, of Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
