CHARLES ClTY, IOWA — Vera Jurrens, 97, of Charles City, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home with the Rev. A. C. Wegner Jr. of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Monday.

Vera Emma Schwartz Jurrens was born Dec. 25, 1900, in Charles City.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Marth, of Charles City; a sister, Emma Boerschel of Modesto, Calif.; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents, husband, twin sons a brother and a great-grandson.
