FLOYD, IOWA - Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Floyd Methodist church here for Mrs. Gertrude D. Crook, 68, wife of Arthur J. Crook, farmer living one mile northeast of Floyd, who died at her home Monday at 1 p. m., following a 10-month illness of cancer.

Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery at Floyd. Friends may call at the Hauser funeral home at Charles City until 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The casket will not be opened at the church.

Mrs. Crook had lived in Floyd county since she was five years old and was a member of the Floyd Methodist Church.

She leaves her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. P. D. Gilger, Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Miss Christine Follansbee, New York; Miss Edith Follansbee, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Miss Louise Follansbee, Independence, Indiana; Mrs. Floyd Gray, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Miss Beatrice Follansbee, St. Paul, Minnesota; Roy P. Follansbee, Marshalltown, and Clarence D. Follansbee of near Floyd.
