TO BE BURIED TUESDAYCHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services far Mrs. Phoebe Strong, 74, widow of Charles Dwight Strong, who died at the Cedar Valley hospital Sunday, following several years' illness, will be conducted at Grossmann's chapel, Tuesday at 2 p. m. Rev. Joseph G. Morgan, pastor of First Congregational Church, will officiate and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Strong had been a resident of Charles City for many years.
She was born the daughter of Israel and Phoebe Capas Johnson, in Crawford County, Wisconsin, September 13, 1868.
She was married on February 18, 1892.
Two daughters, Lena, at homee; Mrs. Ethel B. Vry, Charles City; two brothers, Isreal and William Johnson, Madera, California, and Malaga, California, and two grandchidren, are the survivors.
