Funeral services for Patricia DeWalle of Charles City were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City. Rev. Msgr. Stanley J. Hayek officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Hauser Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Patricia, 79, died Friday, July 7, 2000 at her home in Charles City.

Patricia Elizabeth DeWalle was born March 22, 1921 in Blackhawk County, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Moran. She graduated from the Eagle Center High School.

On August 8, 1942 she married Urban DeWalle at Cresco. In 1958 they moved to Charles City. Urban died on September 21, 1996. Patricia worked at the Floyd County Assessors office for 24 years.

Patricia is survived by one son: Allen of Downingtown, Penna.; two daughters: Dianne Kossnar of Phoenix, Arizona, and Connie Bowen of Middletown; two grandchildren; and four sisters: Miriam Mostrom of Manly, Dorothy Barnes of Monticello, Eileen Lawrence of Winterhaven, Florida, and Lois Barnes of Whitehouse, Texas.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
