Judy J. Dann, 60, of Charles City, died Monday morning, May 31, 2010, at her home in Charles City.

Funeral services for Judy Dann will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Reverend Norman L. Bauer of Calmar-Springfield Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home on Friday.

Judy J. Dann, 60, of Charles City, died Monday morning, May 31, 2010, at her home in Charles City.

Judy Jean Perry was born May 13, 1950, at Charles City, the daughter of Grant and LaVyna (Sheffner) Perry. She was employed at the Sherman House, Home Health Aid in Chickasaw County and Nashua City Hall. Judy shared a special relationship with Clair Clay, Jr. that lasted many years. In September of 1990, she was united in marriage to Tom Dann at Nashua. In August of 1968, Judy was united in marriage to Nick McDaniel. They later divorced. Her interests included mushroom hunting, gardening, collecting butterfly memorabilia, caring for her pets and visiting with family and friends.

Living family members include her two children, Travis McDaniel and Tonia (Mike) Munshower all of Charles City; step-son, Jeremy Dann of Mason City; one granddaughter, Tiffany Sue Munshower; nine sisters, Helen Bill, Jennet Kock, Sharon Maier, Jane True (twin sister) all of Charles City, Darlene (Ron) Ferch of Eldora, Pauline (Francis) Murry of Beloit, Wis., Mary (Tom) Roeder of Springfield, Mo., Bertha Mars of Rockford and Carol (Rev. Norman) Bauer of Calmar; sister-in-law, Joybelle Perry of Charles City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Dann; special friend, Clair Clay, Jr.; three brothers, John, Fred and Bill Perry; and two nephews, Fred C. Perry and David Ferch.
