Nora Springs — Funeral services were here Monday for George Christiansen, 66, Mason City, who died Friday in a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital, following a major operation; burial here.

He was born in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Christiansen, September 23, 1882. Until his retirement, in February this year, he spent his entire life farming in Cerro Gordo County;

On February 24, 1904, he married Dora Hansen of Falls township.

He leaves his wife, three children: Mrs. Emma Luecht, and Elmer, Mason City, and Earl, Rock Falls; one grandson; three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Christian Hansen, Mrs. Jay Clough, and John Christiansen, all of Nora Springs, Mrs. Laura Martin, Mason City, and Henry Christiansen, Salem, Oregon.
