WILLARD L. 'BILL' FETT
NORA SPRINGS - Willard L. "Bill" Fett, 74, of Nora Springs, died Tuesday (Nov. 7, 2000) at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City, with Mr. Don Muessigmann of the First Christian Church of Nora Springs officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Cerro Gordo County 4-H Council.
Bill was born June 7, 1926, in Corwith, the son of Forest F. and Ruby F. (Santee) Fett. He attended the Kossuth County country school in Laverne.
Bill was united in marriage to Goldia M. Unger on March 16, 1945, in Algona.
Willard was a self employed farmer who also worked at International Minerals Fertilizer for 16 years. He was an active 4-H leader in Cerro Gordo County for many years and he enjoyed camping in his spare time.
Willard is survived by his wife, Goldia, of Nora Springs; one daughter, Juanita Campfield and her husband, Bob, of Des Moines; four sons, Gary Fett and his wife, Pam, of Carter Lake, Robert Fett and his wife, Deb, of Elma, Joseph Fett and his wife, Sandi, of Mason City, and Virgil Fett and his wife, Vicki, of Nora Springs; 12 grandchildren, Robbie Campfield, Jason Fett, Brandi Fett, Missy Rehm, Chad Fett, Dionne Fett, Tanya Fett, Billy Fett, Scott Fett, Kristy Ausborn, Jessie Fett and Buddy Fett; six great-grandchildren, Sean Fett, Kyle Rehm, Joseph Conolly, Courtney Fudge, Hope Fett and Paige Fett; four sisters, Lela Richardson, of Britt, Vera Fish, of Corwith, Doris Stewart, of Duncombe, and Bonnie Cronquist, of Moorland; and two brothers, Alfred Fett, of Algona, and Darrell "Butch" Fett, of Chandler, Ariz.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Frederick, Donald, James and Richard Fett; and four sisters, Linda Fett, Berndine Fett, Etta Jean Archer and Fleda Fett.
