Charles City, IowaBrian Martin, 43, of Charles City, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
Patty Kellogg will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City.
Brian Scott Martin was born December 6, 1966, at Charles City, the son of Ivan and Ruth (Johnson) Martin. He graduated from the Charles City High School in 1985. He was currently engaged to Brenda Kreger after being previously married to Melanie Horne. Brian had been employed at the Charles City Press and Custom Wood Products. His interests included listening to country music, playing pool, especially with his son and enjoying his cat Earl.
Living family members include his fiancée Brenda Kreger of Charles City; two children, Jennifer Martin and Anthony Martin both of Fort Dodge; his mother, Ruth Martin of Charles City; a sister, Diane (Gary) Thomas of Charles City; and three brothers, Ronald (Carol) Martin of Decorah, John (Sheryl) Martin of Hutchinson, Minn. and Robert (Donna) Martin of Charles City.
He was preceded in death by his father.
