CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Paul L. Lockie, 101, formerly of 206 Ninth Ave., died Thursday, January 28, 1999, at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, with graveside military honors by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday.

Paul Lorris Lockie was born July 23, 1897, at Elma.

Survivors include his wife, Amy, at the Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City; one son, Gene Lockie, of Calico Rock, Ark.; one daughter, Virginia Hammel, of Charles City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
