Rites to Be Wednesday for Edwin M. Matteson
Charles City, Iowa — Funeral services for Edwin M. Matteson, Sr., 85, who died here Sunday, were to be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Hauser funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph G. Morgan, pastor oŁ the Congregational church officiating, and interment was to be made in Riverside cemetery.
Survivors include Mrs. J. W. Marlowe, Mrs. Alma Young, George Matteson, Ed Matteson, Jr., Mrs. Nelle Sweasy, and Mys. Hattie LaBounty, all of Charles City, and another daughter, Mrs. Bessie Thomas of Strawberry Point. One sister, Mrs. Frank E. Dow of San Bernardino, Calif., eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
