CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Alice Hedges, 80, a resident of the Salsbury Baptist home, died Friday (Jan. 26, 1996) at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. John Bissett officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.

Alice Conn Hedges was born Oct. 10, 1915 at Gravett, Arkansas.

Survivors include one daughter, Helen Erion of Charles City; one son, Claude Hedges Jr. of Fairfield; one brother, Frank Conn of Adrian, Mo.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters; two brothers; and one grandson.
