FUNERAL HELD FOR C. GRIFFETH

Stricken While at Clear Lake;
Died in Mason City Hospital

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services were held for Clarence Griffeth, Charles City, Sunday at the Lindaman Funeral home here. A large number of out-of-town friends attended, representing Clear Lake, Mason City, Osage and Cedar Rapids. Burial was in the Floyd cemetery with the Rev. J. G. Morgan officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Griffeth were vacationing at Clear Lake when he was stricken. He died in a Mason City hospital. He was the son of A. S. Griffeth, one of the early settlers in Floyd county.
