DUESENBERG OF ROCKFORD DIES

Brother of Famous Auto Designers
Became Ill While on Visit.

Rockford, Iowa — Conrad S. Duesenberg, 78, brother of August of Connorsville, Ind., and the late Fred Duesenberg, famous auto designers, died at 8 o’clock Wednesday night at the Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City. He became ill while visiting in Missouiri and was taken directly to the hospital.

Funeral services have been tentatively set for Saturday afternoon at the Flood Creek Methodist church.

Mr. Duesenberg came from Germany 52 years ago, settling on the farm where he since lived. His wife dropped dead last February.

Children surviving are Will of Iowa City, Mrs. Alma Lacour of Charles City, Arthur and Irving of Rockford, Gilbert of Strongherst, Illinois, Ben of Rudd and Misses Esther and Mable of Rockford.
