Rockford, Iowa — Funeral services for Mrs. Conrad Duesenberg were held Thursday aftenoon at the Flood Creek M. E. Church. Anna Schmidt was born on October 2, 1972. About three years later the family moved to Rockford, their home ever since.

There remain her husband, Conrad; the children, Ben, Floyd; Erwin, Esther and Mabel at home; Will, Iowa City; Mrs. Charles Lacour, Charles City; Arthur, Rockford, and Gilbert, Stronghurst, Illinois; six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. A. A. Daake, Rockford; Mrs. Charles Runft, Reinbeck; Mrs. Ralph Sykes, Rockfod; four brothers, Charles, Rockford, Will, Charles City; Fred, Reinbeck, and Ed. Rockford.

Born Anna Maria Schmidt on October 2, 1872, to Phillip and Elizabeth (Baier) Schmidt in Yellow Creek, Stephenson County, Illinois.

Conrad and Anna were married on July 8, 1897, about a year after the death of Conrad's first wife. Conrad and Anna had four children: Benjamin Albert (b. 1898), Erwin Rueben (b. 1900), Esther Ferne (b. 1907), and Mabel Elizabeth (b. 1917).
