Charles City, Iowa — Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Hauser funeral home for Adolph A. Daake, 72, of 803 Hildreth street, who died at the Cedar Valley hospital Friday where he had been a patient since Jan. 10. The Rev. W. H. Titus, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist church, assisted by the Rev. Paul Davis of Waterloo, will officiate, and burial will be in Flood Creek cemetery. Daake, a lifelong resident of Floyd county, farmed in Ulster township until 10 years ago when he retired and moved here. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Orval Kielsmeier, Rockford, and Mrs Otto Marth, rural route, Chrles City, two sons, Reuben Daake, Charles City, and Wilbur Daake, Rockford; a sister, Mrs. Martha Adolphs, Charles City, a brother, John Daake, Eldora; 13 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; parents and a sister preceded him in death.
