Mrs. C. C. Stoner Dies Following Long Illness
NORA SPRINGS, IOWA — Mrs. Clarence C. (Lottie) Stoner, 76, died Thursday at a Mason City hospital. She had been ill two years.
She was born March 21, 1881 near Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel and Susan Frisbie. She came to Nora Springs with her family in 1910 and was married to Clarence Stoner in 1917.
She was a member of the Methodist Church here, Eastern Star and Rebekahs.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Ellis Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, with the Sheckler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stoner is survived by her husband; one son, Cecil, Stockton, Calif.; three grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. William Batdorf, Nora Springs; two brothers, J. Carleton Frisbie, Charles City; and W. H. Frisbie, Spokane, Wash.; and seven nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
