Rites for Strong Scheduled at Charles City

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be held at the Hauser Funeral Home Monday at 2 for J. Roy Strong, 73, Charles City, retired Charles City mail carrier, who died at the Cedar Valley Hospital here Friday. He had been a patient since suffering a heart attack 12 days ago. The Rev. Edwin J. Arnold will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

He was a city mail carrier in the first ward for 16 years.

He is survived by one son, Lawrence, Pierre, S.D.; one daughter, Mrs. Keith Henry, Rockford, Illinois; and two sisters, Mrs Fred Buhl, and Mrs. Stella Zielstorf, both of Charles City.

His parents and wife preceded him in death, as did one daughter, Mrs. Rolle Sissell.
