HENRY, KANE, MONAGHAN

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church for Mrs. Robert Henry, age 84. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with the Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home in charge.

She died Thursday afternoon at the Welcome Haven Rest Home where she had been a patient since December 1, 1958.

Mrs. Henry was born in a log cabin east of Niles on May 5 1874, the daughter of James and Hannah Kane Monaghan. She was educated in the rural schools in Floyd County.

On November 22, 1898, in Charles City, she was married to Robert Henry. Mr. and Mrs. Henry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 22, 1958. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles City; one son, Ray Henry, rural Floyd; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Ebert, Charles City, and Mrs. Harlan Girkin, rural, Charles City; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Monaghan, rural Charles City, and James Monaghan, Redgranite, Wisconsin; and a half brother, Edward Monaghan, Minneapolis.
