CHARLES CITY — Chester Knowlton, 68, retired farmer and lifetime resident of this community died at Cedar Valley Hospital.

He married Victoria Berg February 22, 1899 at Floyd, Iowa. They moved to Charles City eight years ago.

He leaves his widow, two daughters, Mrs. V. J. Marker, Charles City, and Mrs. L. F. Hauser, Minneapolis.

Funeral will be Tuesday.
