Cindy was one of six children born to Glen and Doris “Moorehead” Wyborny. She was born on April 26, 1957 in Mason City. She graduated in 1975 from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock schools and then received her LPN from NIACC. While attending school she was employed by Wyborny Concrete and then owned and operated the “Teddy Bear” day care in Rockford. She was then engaged as a nurse for Comprehensive Systems, and later for Nora Springs Care Center.

She later worked for River City Fence and then the Rockford United Methodist Church as a secretary. Cindy married Gary McRoberts on December 15, 1985 at the Methodist Church in Rockford. To this union was born three sons. On September 22, 2001 she was joined with Gary Schriever in Rockford. Cindy’s heart went out to anyone in need. She supported Relay for Life and many other community projects that came along. Her love for her boys and their sports led her to starting the RRMR mat club for wrestling.

She found time in her busy life to camp around the area. She also enjoyed the quiet solitude of fishing. As often as possible, she would take her chances at spinning the slots. The most important aspect of her life was being with and being surrounded by her family and friends. What ever she tried in life she gave it her best and relished in being helpful to others.

Those thankful in sharing Cindy’s life include her husband Gary Schriever, Rockford; parents Glen and Doris Wyborny, Rudd; three sons Shane, Nathan, and Lance McRoberts, all of Rockford; step children, Crystal Swanson, and Justin and wife Pam Schriever, all of Rockford; one sister Charlotte and husband Gary Johnson, Mason City; two brothers Roni and wife Kerrie Wyborny and Micki and wife Shelley Wyborny all of Rudd; 21 Nieces and Nephews and 35 Great Nieces and Nephews; step Grandchildren Matyson and Allyson Swanson and Dillon and Dawson Schriever; her special caregivers Monica and Cory Murray and their children Cody and Abby and many, many friends. Her constant companions and pets, the dogs Buddy and Lucky and the cat Junior loved her and followed her wherever she went.

Preceding Cindy in death are Grandparents Loretta and Gordon Moorehead, Kenneth and Dorothy Wyborny, sister Janice and brother Kurt Wyborny and great nephew Brandon Neal.
