Michael Immel

CHARLES CITY, Iowa - Michael L. Immel, 39, passed away, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his home at 910 1st Ave. in Charles City. He lived at Comprehensive Systems for 36 years and loved his extended family. He enjoyed music, swinging, being outside and his dog “Freckles”.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, (April 28, 2007) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Chapel Lane, in Charles City, with Rev. Carl A. Ries presiding. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.

Those wishing to extend memorials or expressions of sympathy may direct them to Comprehensive Systems, Inc., 1700 Clark St., Charles City, IA 50616.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. in Charles City. A scriptural vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Saturday at the church, one hour prior to Michael’s service.
Michael is survived by his parents, Richard and Vivian Immel of Charles City; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Ardis De Mar of Charles City. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilber and Hazel Immel and his foster grandmother, Maggie Popes.
