CHRLES CITY, IOWA -- Funeral services were held here on Saturday for Clyde W. Cagley, 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cagley, Charles City, who died Thursday night at Ottawa, Illinois. He had been ill with an ulcer for about eight days.

Born April 27, 1925, in Charles City; he attended the Charles City school until he entered the navy in 1942, serving for four years.

He was first mate on the towboat Montgomery; employed by the Federal Barge line of St. Louis, Missouri.

He leaves parents; a son, Billy; three brothers, Hugh, Jr., John and Guy, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Krinkie, and Audrey Cagley.
