CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Alan Moen, 80, of 803 HUdreth St, died Wednesday (Dec. 14, 1994) at Marian Health Center, Sioux City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St, and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Arthritis Foundation.

Alan John Moen was born Nov. 27, 1914, near Decorah, Iowa.

Survivors include three daughters, Carol Chadwick of Sioux City, Linda Bell of St Charles, Illinois, and Jean Wright of Grapevine, Texas; six grandchildren; and one half brother, Chester Goodno of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother.
