Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Huggett were held in the Christian church here on Tuesday afternoon of last week, in charge of Rev. L.W. Inman, of Charles City. Interment was in the Hill Side Cemetery at Marble Rock.

Mrs. Huggett was formerly Phoebe Ella Halsteadm a daughter of Charles and Clarissa Halstead, and was born August 10, 1853, in Indiana, and died at her home in Marble Rock on March 3, 1929.

She was married to Mr. Robert Huggett on Dec. 5, 1880. To this union two children were born, Nina (now Mrs. G.A. Markle) and Charles Huggett, both of Charles City. The husband, Mr. Huggett, died October 14, 1909, and since that time Mrs. Huggett and her son, Charles, have made a home together.

There remains to mourn her death, her two children; one grandchild, Lloyd Markle; two sisters, Mrs. James Huggett, of Marble Rock, Mrs. Anna Trimble, of Greene; two brothers, Stephen Halstead, Mt. Vernon, Washington, and Columbus Halstead, Arpin, Wisconsin; besides nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Huggett had lived for 44 years in the home where she passed away.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Huggett and two children, of Waterloo, attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Robert Huggett here on Tuesday afternoon.
