William Youngerman

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be 1:30 this afternoon at the Wesleyan Church, Rudd, for William Youngerman, 36, of Charles City, who died of cancer Tuesday (June 19, 1984) at home.

The Rev. Howard Johnson and the Rev. Gerald Hilsman will officiate at the service, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City. Visitation is at 11:30 this morning at the church.

Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Youngerman was born Jan. 16, 1948 in Charles City to Wilhelm and Helen (Leymaster) Youngerman. He was educated in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School in 1966. he attended North Iowa Area Community College.

Mr. Youngerman served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Christine Corell on Oct. 7, 1978 at the Wesleyan Church, Rudd.

Survivors include his wife, Chris; one daughter, Anne, at home, his mother, Mrs. Helen Youngerman, Charles City; three sisters, Mrs. Susan Marth, Rockford; Mrs. Judy Brooks, Ames; and Sara Youngerman, Charles City, one brother, David, Charles City, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leymaster, Charles City.
