Lori Regenold, 54, of Charles City, died Friday, October 30, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, of a massive heart attack.

Lori Jo Trihub Regenold was born May 17, 1955, at Minot, N.D., the daughter of Lloyd and Alvera (Locken) Trihub. She graduated from Berthold Public School in Berthold, N.D. Lori lived in Charles City with her husband Paul Regenold. They enjoyed working together on remodeling their homes, traveling and experiencing new things. She once worked for UPS in Minot, N.D. and was currently a well loved teacher’s aide in Charles City. As a down to earth giving soul, Lori thrived on the simple things in life.

She was loved by all who knew her. Lori was once married to Charles Miller and from that union two wonderful sons were born. Lori loved motherhood and was filled with joy when she became a Grandmother. Her loving family and giving to others where some of the greatest aspects of her life. As a final example of Lori’s giving spirit, she has chosen to donate her organs, furthering the lives of many people. Organ recovering took place Sunday. She will be greatly missed.

Living family members include her husband, Paul Regenold of Charles City; two sons, Travis Miller and Derrick Miller both of Sawyer, N.D.; a granddaughter, Hailee Miller; two step children, Danette (David Kasper) Regenold of Rosemont, MN. and Brian (Tammie) Regenold of Hudson; five step grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Trihub of Tioga, N.D. and Lance Trihub of Bismarck, N.D.; three sisters, Lana (Gerald) Bruels of Bismarck, N.D., LaRae (Randy) Templeton of Minot, N.D. and Lynette (Kevin) Thompson of Almont, N.D. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
