NORA SPRINGS, IOWA -- Doris C. Sanford, age 91, of Nora Springs, died on Friday, April 5, 1996, at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church, 102 N. Hawkeye, with the Rev. Eldon Jandebeur officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Doris C. Sanford was born June 2, 1904, at Gillingham, England.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Sanford of Nora Springs; two sons, Ronald Sanford of Mason City, and Bruce Sanford of Carlisle; two daughters, Margaret Edwards of Marshalltown, and Marion Reeves, of Phoenix, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Leonard Butler of Charles City, and Claude Butler of Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and three brothers.
